Melayu Bhd (KTMB) is raising the lowest pay permitted by law at the
organization to RM1,200 from the present RM1,000, beginning May 2017.
The move will decidedly influence 862 staff.
The organization said in a media proclamation that its board
individuals have affirmed the determination to raise the lowest pay permitted
by law at KTMB in front of the administration's stipulated due date of July
2017 for organizations possessed by Minister of Finance Inc (MoF Inc).
KTMB said this takes after Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak's
guideline to update the lowest pay permitted by law at organizations possessed
by MoF Inc taking after his leading of the Bumiputera Economic Council (MEB)
meeting in February this year.
KTMB administrator Datuk Ir Nawawi Ahmad said in the announcement
that representatives who meet all requirements for the raise will see changes
in accordance with their fundamental compensation and additionally their boss'
commitments to EPF and PERKESO beginning May.
