The preparation and introduction of this Code of Practice was inspired by Y.B Dato' Lim Ah Lek, Minister of Human Resources Malaysia arising out of his sympathy with the employees who had been subjected to sexual harassment and his desire and commitment to prevent and eradicate sexual harassment in the workplace.
