CCCC-George Kent JV take a Bid of RM1.01b work bundle for MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line.

Multi Management and Future Solutions Malaysia: Mass Rapid Transit Corp (MRT Corp) Sdn Bhd has granted a RM1.01 billion work bundle for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line to CCCC-George Kent Joint Venture.

The bundle for designing, acquirement, development, testing and dispatching of trackworks, support vehicles and works trains was honored after a meeting by the One-Stop Procurement Committee (OSPC) led by Prime Minister Datuk Sri Najib Razak, MRT Corp said in an announcement issued today.

The joint endeavor contains the China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC) and George Kent (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

CCCC holds 51 for each penny value in the joint endeavor while George Kent holds the rest of the 49 for every penny.

MRT Corp CEO Datuk Sri Shahril Mokhtar said this work bundle was one of the real ones for the development of the SSP Line.

"CCCC accompanies great specialized expertise having taken care of numerous foundation ventures, including railroad development.

"It's joint endeavor with Malaysian organization George Kent, which now has a solid nearness in the railroad business in Malaysia, permits the MRT Project to profit by the experience of these two exceptionally solid organizations," Shahril said.

He included that the joint endeavor, which was one of seven givers, fared extremely well in the specialized bit of the assessment.
